Who Watches The Watchmen? #WatchmenHBO
Alan Moore's classic graphic novel "WATCHMEN" will be adapted unto a google box project for HBO, to be written by Damon Lindelof (For TV: “Lost”, “The Leftovers” .. For Film; Cowboys & Aliens, Prometheus, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Tomorrowland) who will also serve as an executive producer, alongside Nicole Kassell and Tom Spezialy. The first season will consist of 10 episodes.

Is the world ready for yet another live-action adaptation of the source material? I had enjoyed Zack Snyder's iteration, and the existence of THIS fan-blog supports my dedication ... and am thus far intrigued with the visual imagery since teased for this project. - Nine Inch Nails musicians Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will be creating the original music for the series.
- Nicole Kassell (Westworld, The Leftovers) is slated to direct the pilot episode.
- The series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television, based on characters from DC.
- Based on the Alan Moore graphic novel, Watchmen is set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws. And while Lindelof (The Leftovers) plans to embrace the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel, "the series will also attempt to break new ground of its own."
